What is Physiotherapy?

Chartered Physiotherapy is a science-based profession which takes a holistic approach to patient health and well-being, which includes the patient’s general lifestyle. Chartered Physiotherapy is a degree based healthcare profession which takes a minimum of four years to complete in a legislated University. Chartered Physiotherapists who provide care in the Bradley clinic are registered with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, (ISCP).

Chartered Physiotherapists help restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability through a variety of exercise, movement, mobilisations, soft-tissue techniques such as active and passive release, strapping/kinesio-taping, electrotherapy, education and advice.

Bradley Clinic is a patient focused practice in which we aim to provide the highest level of care to sports people and the general public. We do this by offering services such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, Pilates, Exercise/rehab classes along with X-Ray, MRI and Specialist referrals, if required. By offering these we are the most equipped clinic within the Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford areas when dealing with sports injuries and other musculoskeletal complaints.

Our Chartered Physiotherapists provide care to patients of all ages in the clinic. They work with patients who are recovering from hip, knee, back and shoulder surgeries, as well as providing care for sports teams both in clinic and onsite at sporting events as well as treating the general public.
